30th anniversary 2LP edition of Dr Dre's solo debut 'The Chronic'.
The rapper, producer and label boss debuted this album in December 1992, having previously left the group N.W.A. and founded his own label Death Row. With its distinctive G-funk sound, the album was considered pioneering in the genre at the time. It also produced, among other things, the timeless hip-hop classic and world hit 'Nuthin' but a 'G-Thang', on which he introduced his new protégé Snoop Doggy Dogg at the time. Also, for many, the album was the first introduction to Warren G, Nate Dogg and Kurupt, who all became very successful in the years that followed under the watchful eye of Dr Dre.
