Electronic, minimal, ambient, jazz, pop, world music, classical: on Shadows, everything flows together. "That gives a very organic sound. Sometimes you can't quite hear anymore whether it's a harp or a synth. I think that's very cool." The album's base consists of harps, horns (Morris Kliphuis) and modular synthesizers (Maarten Vos), supplemented by drums (Nicky Hustinx), saxophone, vibraphone, bass and a Rhodes, among others. Fink is co-producer.
