Dit jaar is het 20 jaar geleden dat The Blue Note Books verscheen. Max Richter zegt over de relevantie van dit album in deze tijd: “It’s an attempt for music to comment on society. And specifically it’s a sort of anti-violence record. It’s about political, social and personal brutality and a kind of a protest against it. I think its relevance is current now.”
