“Music from The Elder”, the band’s ninth studio album from 1981, is released as a strictly limited and high-quality, D2C-exclusive 1LP.
The newly half-speed-mastered 1LP is pressed on clear heavyweight vinyl (180g) and comes housed in a gold-laminated gatefold sleeve with embossed elements. Original song lyrics are printed on an additional inner sleeve. All individual copies are numbered and include two further inserts: a German translation of the lyrics and a double-sided depicting artwork from the Australian issue on one side and artwork from the Japanese issue on the other.
A substantial departure from their previous records, “Music from The Elder” was conceived as a concept album with more orchestral elements. The album has since garnered a cult following, earned appraisal for its concept and has even become a much sought-after rarity in the KISS catalogue.
The reissue is strictly limited to 7,000 units worldwide and comes with the German KISS logo.
