Djesse Vol. 1 is Jacob Collier's first album in the Djesse series. For this, he collaborated with the Metropole Orchestra conducted by Jules Buckley. The album is a journey through every possible musical genre and includes contributions from international artists such as British singer Laura Mvula, Moroccan musician Hamid El Kasri and American a cappella group Take 6. Collier is at the helm as writer, producer, arranger and singer. With this reissue of the album, Djesse Vol. 1 is available on coloured vinyl for the first time.
