Description

After the success of their first album, Settle, the British duo of the two Lawrence brothers released the album Caracal in 2015. The first single, "Bang That", already sets the album's style: robotic beats and bass, pop-Rican choruses and steamy synth layers. The rest of the new album includes collaborations with Gregory Porter, Sam Smith and The Weeknd.

Like the cover of the first album, the artwork for the new album is once again very graphic, featuring a feline, the Caracal (also the name of the album): "The Caracal is an incredible wild cat that began to fascinate me during our tour last year," explains Howard Lawrence, "I love their appearance, their physical abilities and their anatomy. It fitted in perfectly with the visuals for the new album, and while we were recording it seemed only natural that it should also be the title of the album."
