'Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent' is the long-awaited debut album by Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi. The ironic title is characteristic of the young Scot, who was still playing night after night in pubs a year and a half ago and is now considered one of the greatest talents of the moment. With 'Bruises', a heartbreaking acoustic track about heartbreak, Capaldi broke through to the general public. Capaldi spent 18 months working on his album, which he recorded in London, Los Angeles and New York. He worked with Jamie Hartman (Calvin Harris, Rag'n' Bone Man), Malay (Frank Ocean, Lorde) and the songwriters/producers of TMS (including Emeli Sandé), among others. On his album, Lewis continues his acoustic course in songs that tell of the ups & downs of a young man growing up. The album also includes the #1 single 'Someone You Loved'.
