guitars. Blackmore left the band in 1975 to found Rainbow
Recorded in Paris at the Palais des Sports David Coverdale, Glenn Hughes, Richie Blackmore, Jon Lord and Ian Paice really made the audience’ blood boil.
With fascinating drum- and guitar solos and enormous improvisations, this concert was a perfect tribute to their reputation in the world of rock.
While songs like ‘Burn’, ‘Stormbringer’ and ‘Lady Double Dealer’ burst with strength, other songs like ‘Mistreated’ were presented in a superb
blues version. Of course, the highlight of the show was their all time smash hit and masterpiece ‘Smoke On The Water’.
