Slowthai, up-and-coming talent from British hip-hop culture, is back with a new album: "UGLY", which stands for U Gotta Love Yourself.
In a statement, the slowthai said, "I tattooed UGLY on my face because it is a reminder to love myself, rather than constantly belittling myself or feeling that the impression people have of me determines who I am as a person."
The rapper, who reveals his anxieties of the past two years, considers it his most full-length project yet. Recorded in producer Dan Carey's studio alongside his usual collaborator Kwes Darko, the artist was surrounded for this album by artists Taylor Skye of Jockstrap, Jacob Bugden, guitarist of Beabadoobee and Fontaines D.C.
