'Celebration, Volume 1', is de eerste in een reeks archiefuitgaven die de legendarische saxofonist en componist Wayne Shorter cureerde voordat hij in 2023 overleed. Deze spannende live-opname uit 2014 legde Shorters veelgeprezen kwartet vast met pianist Danilo Perez, bassist John Patitucci en drummer Brian Blade op het Stockholm Jazz Festival in Zweden. De onverschrokken set bevat enkele van de favorieten van de band, waaronder 'Zero Gravity', 'Smilin' Through', 'Orbits', 'Lotus' en 'She Moves Through The Fair'.
