Ever since 1978, Doe Maar has brought together ska, punk and reggae as the representatives of Nederpop. After Henny Vrienten joined the band, the band's second studio album Skunk became their breakthrough with the general public. With timeless classics such as “Smoorverliefd”, “Sinds 1 Dag Of 2 (32 Jaar)”, “De Bom” and “Belle Hélène”, Doe Maar grew into one of the most successful Dutch-speaking groups ever.
