Deze compilatie bevat enkele opnames van de band die tussen 1994 en 2006 als B-kantjes op singles, soundtracks en als bonustracks op Japanse, Franse en Britse versies van hun albums heeft uitgebracht. 'The Rest Of The Best' is samengesteld door The Cardigans zelf en het artwork is gemaakt op basis van foto's gemaakt door fotograaf Martin Bogren, die vanaf het begin met de band samenwerkte.
